Shot blasting
Shot–blasting is a method of line–marking that utilizes an abrasive material such as steel shot or sand to prepare a surface for painting. The abrasive material is blasted onto the surface at high pressure, removing dirt and contaminants. This pre–painting preparation helps ensure a longer–lasting and more durable finish. Shot–blasting is also commonly used to create a textured finish, such as on roads, parking lots, and other areas where line marking is necessary. Shot–blasting is a fast and efficient way to prepare a surface for painting, and it can be used on concrete and asphalt surfaces.
Grinding
There are many ways to grind surface and prepare for linemarking, but at Sydney Total Linemarking, we use a handheld machine with one of our professional and qualified time members controlling it. Grinding removes all imperfections and inconsistencies on the surface. This results in a smooth and useable surface for linemarking. We also recommend sealing the floor after linemarking is done specially for warehouses and showrooms which durability is important.
Floor scrubbing & Sweeping
Floor scrubbing is done with a floor scrubber which Is a floor cleaning machine. It injects water and cleaning solution into the floor while scrubbing to lift the residue, dirt, and debris off the floor.

Sealing
Line marks sealing is when we apply a layer of sealer to protect the line marks from any surface damage, staining or corrosion. The sealer also blocks out any pores in the surface to limit water absorption, salts, or any type of material to go inside the pores and ruins the final product.
